As a group, you will choose the company where you will work. Then divide into four roles: 1) management, 2) marketing/advertising, 3) human resources, 4) and customer service. (You can have two people collaborate in any role). Each of your roles will be emphasized in your individual culture paper. You are to imagine that you are part of an advance team who has been given the task to sell the product (which you choose) of your company to another country (to be determined later). You are submitting this paper as a report to the CEO and chief executive board. You will give them an overview of how you will plan the business venture, based on the information about cultural priorities and how they affect your business decisions, as well as the history, economy and current conditions in your country that you have all observed and researched together as the advance team. Your grade for the Culture Presentation will be as follows (200 pts. total): 1) Completeness and comprehensiveness of the overall view of your countrys culture, with special emphasis on doing business in that culture 75 pts 2) How well your paper utilized the concepts and definitions from class by integrating them into the explanations of your countrys culture 75 pts 3) Your explanation of how cultural priorities effect the 50 points decision-making process of your ROLE in ways that emphasize good business practices * I am doing the customer service at LOREAL(Product: mascara) in Indonesia.
